The XLQ2Y dual power automatic transfer switch (hereinafter referred to as ATS) is mainly composed of two circuit breakers with high breaking capacity to complete the dual power automatic transfer switch controller, etc. It is suitable for first class loads such as high-rise buildings, hospitals, commercial fields, banks, fire protection, chemical, metallurgical, military facilities, etc. with rated voltage of 400V, 50Hz and rated current of 800A and below, and some second class loads that do not allow power outage. It completes the automatic power transfer of the dual circuit power supply system, thereby ensuring the reliability of power supply for important users.
This product complies with the GB/T14048.11-2002 IEC60947-6-1 (1998) standard for Automatic Transfer Switching Electrical Appliances.
Model and meaning:
Note: Integrated refers to the controller and the main body being assembled on the same base plate;
Split type refers to the separation of the controller from the main body and the use of connectors to connect them through dedicated cables;
Normal working conditions:
1. Surrounding air temperature
The upper limit value does not exceed+40 ℃
The lower limit value shall not be lower than -5 ℃
The average value within 24 hours shall not exceed+35 ℃
2. Installation location
The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 meters;
3. Atmospheric conditions
The relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50 ° C when the ambient air temperature is+40 ° C. Higher relative humidity can be achieved at lower temperatures, with an average minimum temperature of 25 ° C in the wettest month and an average relative humidity of 90 ° C, taking into account condensation on the surface of the product due to temperature changes.
4. Usage environment
ATS should be installed in a dry environment without conductive dust, corrosive, explosive, and flammable gases, and should avoid rain and water ingress. The device should not be subjected to impact and vibration, and its installation vertical slope should not exceed 5 degrees. The external magnetic field of the ATS installation site should not exceed 5 times the geomagnetic field in any direction.
Performance characteristics:
The XLQ2Y series dual power automatic transfer switch has complete detection and protection functions. It uses a high-speed single-chip embedded microprocessor as the main control chip to detect the power supply status in real time, ensuring high reliability operation of the power supply system.
1. It has dual protection functions of mechanical interlocking and electrical interlocking to prevent two circuit breakers from closing simultaneously.
2. It has six control operation methods: "manual control", "self switching and self recovery", "common power supply", "backup power supply", "power-off and then deduction", and "self switching but not self recovery".
3. It has undervoltage, overvoltage, and phase loss protection functions to prevent the faulty power supply from supplying power to the load.
4. It has alarm or indication functions for power failure, circuit breaker tripping and other faults.
5. It has the function of preventing secondary reclosing: (i.e. load side short circuit, overload, circuit breaker cannot automatically close after automatic closing (tripping)).
6. It has adjustable operating parameter values (undervoltage value, overvoltage value, opening delay value, closing delay value), fully Chinese menu operation, convenient for users to query in real time.
7. With a fire interface, in emergency situations, as long as the fire control DC24V (control voltage selected by the user) is connected, this controller will immediately output a control contact to quickly cut off the relevant circuit.
8. Equipped with RS485 and RS232C serial communication interfaces, using MODEBUS communication protocol.

Dual power supply is mainly divided into PC level dual power supply (integral type) and CB level dual power supply (dual circuit breaker type)
PC grade dual power supply: capable of connecting, carrying, but not used for breaking short-circuit currents

If a load switch without overcurrent release is selected as the actuator for dual power supply, it belongs to PC level automatic transfer switch. It does not have protection function, but it has high tolerance and connection ability, which can ensure the safety of the switch itself and prevent damage due to overload or short circuit faults, ensuring reliable circuit connection in this situation.
CB level dual power supply: a dual power supply equipped with an overcurrent release, whose main contact can be connected and used to break short-circuit current
If a circuit breaker with overcurrent release is selected as the actuator for dual power supply, it belongs to CB level automatic transfer switch. It has selective protection function and can provide short circuit and overload protection for the lower end load and cable; Its ability to connect and disconnect is much greater than using other components such as contactors and relays.
